Our client, a leading player in advanced technology, is now seeking Cyber Security Engineers. ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be a key player in protecting critical information in complex ship systems. You will work closely with IT architects and systems engineering teams in a distributed environment. The role involves ensuring that information aboard ships is protected against unauthorized access, manipulation, and destruction through identification, analysis, and verification of security requirements. This is a 6-month assignment with good opportunities for extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

This role focuses on protecting complex information systems within ship projects by analyzing, implementing, and documenting security solutions.

• Identification, analysis, and verification of security requirements for information systems.
• Supporting IT architects and systems engineers in the product development process.
• Reviewing and analyzing technical security solutions.
• Information security analyses, such as vulnerability assessments and risk management.
• Creating security documentation such as descriptions, instructions, and policies.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a university degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, software, or similar fields, or equivalent work experience, with at least 1 year up to +8 years of experience.
• Have knowledge and experience in cyber, information, or IT security.
• Have excellent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Possess good communication skills and enjoy collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Can transform requirements and analyses into technical solutions.
• Have an approved security clearance according to applicable regulations, which may require certain citizenship.

It is a plus if you have

• Knowledge and experience working with information security standards and processes.
• Experience working with product development.
